Whilst working as a chemist in industrial coatings for a large multinational, I developed an interest in databases and data management
I have now been involved in IT and IT support for over 20 years, and am familiar with all aspects of IT, including hardware, software and peripherals.
My experience involves databases and database design, from Microsoft Access, Navision, MSSQL and more recently MySQL.
I also have a broad depth of Microsoft Office products and have trained staff in using Excel and Word and in using MSAccess to retrieve data and produce reports from other products, such as Sage Accounts.
I am MCP+I and MCSE qualified and am a Microsoft Registered Partner.
I first became involved with web design about 10 years ago, firstly in static html and classic ASP and more recently in PHP, and I set up Forth Web Solutions in 2010 after designing, developing and improving Websites for friends and colleagues.
I develop primarily using Adobe products and with Adobe Dreamweaver extensions from Webassist.
I am very active in the Webassist Members Forum, and recognised as a Community Expert.
I moved to a village near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, with my family, in the summer of 2008 and we really love it here.
